In short, he didn’t care about and essentially took a giant shit on sound property rights and individual liberty (along with freedom of the press and other liberties) in favor of a policy best described as “my way or you look down the barrel of a gun way”. The slavery issue aside, his administration saw (as Lew Rockwell so eloquently summarized) “Protectionism, nationalized money supply, the crony capitalism of corporate welfare, income taxation, military conscription, huge public debt, waging war over tax collection, shutting down opposition newspapers, suspension of Habeas Corpus, interfering with elections, imprisoning duly elected state government representatives, deporting opposition members of the national legislature, intentionally waging war on innocent civilians in your own country and killing tens of thousands of them, promising to enshrine slavery in the Constitution; shooting military conscripts who desert, centralizing all political power in the central government, creating a giant military-industrial complex …”
I’m against pretty much every single one of these things and find any President, past or present, who has overseen and contributed to such actions to be a disgusting tyrant who deserves to have his grave pissed on rather than a memorial erected in his honor. There’s a lot more to it than that, like the right to secession, which I believe is Constitutionally supported and was of course violated by Lincoln.

Well not all the time but frequently, I just use cannabis, but i also like herb, ganja, sometimes weed (though I suppose you could argue it has some negative connotation as well). Also hippie lettuce. You know the normal stuff.
